When I was 24 or 25 years old, I tripped alone overseas for surf riding.

I took my childhood’s pastel crayons and a sketchbook in my backpack.

Just for the purpose of killing time, I drew landscapes and things that I saw while I’m not surfing.

Before I marry my wife, I remember she was very pleased when I gave her my painting of the sea.

It was when her friend saw the painting on the wall, this is the day my first painting was ordered by someone else.

In the wake of my wife being healed, I want more people to be seen, be healed, send energy, and deliver to people in the world, with such thoughts, I started to pursue an painter career.

When I visited Oyamazumi Shrine (Omishima island) in 2011, the moment I parked the car at the nearby parking lot, got off the car, and I felt my elbows to fingertips gone numb.

Walked a little bit and strangely the numbness has disappeared, when I went through the torii gate.

My wife felt that the air and the energy was different since we entered the precincts, and she was already taking various pictures.

Especially we were overwhelmed by the great camphor tree.

As I got home and while organizing the photos, I found something that glows in the middle of the tree.

I asked someone familiar with such spiritual feelings, we found out it was a spirit living in the tree.

From that day on, an inspiration has come up to me.

Not like I am the one painting, feel like something is using me to paint.

I usually paint things that I see, but this time was different. I wasn’t sure what I was painting, but was finishing the picture. (Later on I found out it was an abstract.)

Feel like something comes down from the above.

I feel like I'm not the one moving my hands. I'm part of the nature and trying to tell something.

People are not a special being, but part of nature, means people are part of the Earth, part of the Universe.

Once people who feels the energy, the wave coming out of the picture begins to appear, more and more people increased to feel the same.

After that, when my wife got pregnant and went back to the Oyamazumi Shrine again, when I looked up the sky, I found a rainbow that circled around the sun.

It was a double rainbow.

I saw such rainbow for the first time and have not seen it since then.

I thought this child was a child of God, and I realized my eyes were filled of tears. I duly received a message from nature.

Everything is connected, not accidental. I felt everything was inevitable.

During her second pregnancy (first one was 1 year and 8 months), I painted mural at my studio.

My child saw it and suddenly said, "Same as mammy’s stomach, there is a baby".

Whenever She went to my wall painting, he continuously said "baby, baby" for a while.

She calls my studio is the belly room.

 

At one point, I became conscious of overseas and wanted to emphasize Japan. In addition to washi paper which I always use, I decided to paint using mineral pigments (pigment used for Japanese painting).
In 2018, when I took the painting to Bali where I believe the gods live, I learned that the mineral pigments was originally made of natural minerals.
Since then, I was attracted to the natural colors which is part of the earth, instead of the scientific colors I used to use.Its not a flashy color, but mineral pigments create more unique color that calms my mind,which is more suitable to express the natural world and energy of the universe.In fact, it is made out of a part of nature.

I normally try various art materials and methods to express as I come up with, and I want to keep changing and evolving from now on.
